That is one fucking kickass trailer! Finally something to look forward to this year. So EXCITED!!!
Also <3 Claptrap wub wub
Looks awesome! I just hope there isn't too much dub step (ie, any dub step) in the final game, and that reload canceling still works.
Awesome trailer. I couldn't be more excited for this, Borderlands is probably my favorite game this gen.
If in-game Claptrap has a new found appreciation for dubstep, that only makes this better.
What an incredible trailer, though I concur that September is an awful release window for this. Not that it's going to hamper it, I'm sure, but really it should be a June release. Also, they made the world look so enormous and filled with such a variety of things that it seems like it almost should be a trailer for an MMO or at least a "big persistent multiplayer world"-style of game than just a co-op.

I hope the PC version is a bit better than the original borderlands.
Allegedly PC is lead platform for Borderlands 2. But I guess we'll see how things turn out in September.
Also, is it weird if I think it would be cool to be able to play as the fat lady? =|
The characters seem a little bland this time, not too impressed there.
Everything else looks amazing, I'm really happy to see Tannis and Moxxi are back.
Day 1 for me and I hope to play with some GB udders this time. Got the GOTY edition of the first game so I missed the boat for when everyone was playing it.

True game design innovation will see a dubstep toggle in the settings menu.
THAT I'LL ALWAYS HAVE ON!

Great trailer, but BAD release date. This game would have perfect for the summer, i guess they dont want to rush it. But Halo 4 will own Sept sales.
I don't really see that. I'm not going to buy halo, but I am buying borderlands 2. And I know a lot of people that are the same.
I love that. I still like playing games with a buddy on the same screen, not enough games include that option.Pretty weird that they highlight local splitscreen in the trailer...
Oh yes, this was a Borderlands trailer alright, made up of complete and utter awesome. Great track, great set of classes (Sirens fo'ever), all of the classic characters returning, splitscreen still available (!!!--seriously, I had the most fun with Borderlands playing splitscreen with my little brother for hours on end) and there's just so much in there, it's tough to take it all in at once.
This alongside Darksiders II will help me regain my love for the loot lust within action RPGs after the overwhelmingly mediocre Kingdoms of Amalur.
Loving the laidback feeling that's coming from this trailer, also:
I need more mad drops in my videogame trailers.

I love splitscreen too, but why the hell would they feel the need to put it in the trailer?

As a massive Halo fan all I can say is fuck Halo 4, but I can't wait for Borderlands 2.

Do we know for sure that Halo 4 is coming out in September? I haven't heard any information about that game since last E3.

Probably because there's a good chance that Borderlands was a very popular game for people to splitscreen, so I imagine they're just inserting the 5 seconds of splitscreen time to cater to that crowd.

It's a pretty safe assumption, Halo's come out in Sept and 4's out this year.
Exactly. For some people its a feature that will help sell the game. Hell I have friends who don't own game systems or ever play online but they'll play splitscreen games. I'm happy whenever a dev includes it.@Akrid said:

Well Halo 1 and 2 came out in November but I do see your point.
