Return to Pandora as part of a new group of ragtag Vault Hunters in this sequel to the 2009 first-person "role-playing shooter" Borderlands, now with new crazy enemies, new crazy character classes, and even crazier weapons.
How many other people do you intend to play Borderlands 2 with?
For Borderlands, I tried to play with a full group of 4. But having that many people who also went ahead and soloed made it a bit of a pain later, since they just wanted to do everything and spoil some tidbits.
I'm planning on playing this with just one other person and taking our time together because I am a sap. :D
1) Turn on 360.
2) See which friends are online who have Borderlands 2.
3) Call other friends and attempt to get three or four players total.
4) Talk about where you all are in the campaign, and enter the game of whoever is farthest back.
5) Play some bits again, but be glad that you're doing it with friends, that you can still get cool loot, and that your somewhat overpowered characters can help them out.
The alternate method is use several characters, and only use those characters when you play with each respective co-op partner or group.
Probably like I did with the first one, have two dudes and go back and forth playing online and alone. I would start a dude online get a few levels and guns and figure out where stuff was. Than I would start a different dude by myself playing from the start past where I was before. Than switch back off line and continue first story and back and forth. I'll end up with two different people at the end at the same time.

alone, would rather play with others..
I'm sure there will be a post your gamertag / PSN name thread for anyone who doesn't have any friends that picked up a copy. With the new trade system, it should make playing online without good friends much less of a pain.

Are we talking the red borderlands, the green borderlands, or the blue borderlands?
Alone.
Other people would just slow me down.
Maybe on a second character i'll start dabling in MP, as a side thing while doing a second playthrough with the first character.
If I can detach my friends from GW2 for long enough to get through it I'll be doing a 3man / 4man group. If not I dont mind going solo.
I'll probably play it by myself. Hopefully it plays better solo than Borderlands did. That kind of sucked balls.
I intend to play with one other person, but ssid person isn't very reliable about buying and playing co-op games so I'll probably end up playing by myself.
