Return to Pandora as part of a new group of ragtag Vault Hunters in this sequel to the 2009 first-person "role-playing shooter" Borderlands, now with new crazy enemies, new crazy character classes, and even crazier weapons.
Is "Claptrap's Birthday Bash" the best quest in the game?
No, Shoot This Guy in the Face is.
I've played through the game like 5 times and I still laugh audibly whenever I get to that quest.
I do love Claptrap... but Face McShooty is F***ing hilarious.
This is a tough choice. Thanks @StarvingGamer you've shaken my love for Claptrap. I'm still going to say yes to Birthday Bash being the best quest in the game. I like little robots just a little more than I like crazy people/shooting people in the face. I hope that doesn't sound as weird as I think it does...

@StarvingGamer: But does that quest have you dancing with Claptrap, NO!
Good! Because Claptrap is one of the worst things ever!

They did a good job in this game of making him fairly likeable. He had a lot more lines, and he was far less prominent than he was in the first one, so he gets a pass this time around. Now, if you wanna say that about Scooter, I will defend you to the death.
@The_Nubster: That's funny, because talking to Scooter has always been genuinely hilarious to me. The only character I really don't like at all is actually probably Marcus. He's one-note in the most boring way.

I was just gonna say the same. I think Marcus is a boring character. He annoys me to no end with this stupid, stupid one-liners! I think Claptrap is funny (except that dubstep and beatbox), but scooter wasn't as funny in this game.
Considering all you do is stand there while listening to Claptrap I would say its the worst in the game.
"Maybe you're weighing the moral pros and cons but let me assure you that OH MY GOD SHOOT ME IN THE GODDAMNED FACE WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!" -Face McShooty, RIP
No, I actually found it a little depressing :(
Shoot That Guy In The Face was the funniest in my opinion.
Faceshootyman is my favorite. Love the way he keeps talking when you accept the quest, followed by the quick "thank you!" when you do shoot him.

For me he's second in line to Mal the misguided Hyperion Robot <3 Love his incidental dialogue you hear as he's walking around his den, and what's more the weapon his quest set gives you is usually incredible.
First playthrough I got this awesome corrosive pistol with a high firerate; it was the only weapon I needed to take down The Warrior. NG+ I was surprised to find that it gave me a completely different weapon. Still a pistol, but it dished out an absurd amount of damage. The way would fire was pretty weird at that, like it shoots a small array of relatively slow-moving projectiles which just pour away most enemies health. Kinda like a shotgun, yet it also only takes one bullet per shot as well. It was an absolute life saver considering how insanely difficult NG+ can get when playing solo, especially when I went up against that Saturn robot (?) in Fyrestone.

What about the quest where you kill yourself? I found that fun to do.
That is a great quest except that Jack's dialogue gets cut off by the respawn robot. The sound designers really fucked up this game. Caravan comin through...
I'm for Shoot This Guy in the Face as the best quest and I support Face McShooty for Best New Character.
I felt that Claptrap just needed a hug...
The Face McShooty quest though, is better. Nothing complicated. Straight forward. Shoot the man in the face. Ding! Level Up!

Face McShooty. followed by either P3RV-E or the mission where you stick body parts on the robot that wants to be human.
I kind of like the one where you wander around Sanctuary listening to Patricia Tannis's torture journals. It's labeled as "hard" but it takes only a few moments to complete. The tapes themselves are mesmerizing.
I have not yet finished the game, but in my opinion, the Tea party questline is just hilarious. And of course the quest, where you have to find a new body for that robot who wants to kill you
My favorite quest is the one where the lady fucking shoots herself after she hears Scooter's love poem. It was just a great moment where me and my three friends were just all saying: "There's no fucking way that's going happen, that would be TOO fucked up", then it did, and we all just burst out laughing.
Probably my favorite moment of the game is the part where Jack delivers the speech about the guy with the spoon. God damn, Daemon Clark is pretty incredible. Jack is hilarious when he's supposed to be, and down-right terrifying other times. Great character, in my opinion.
