The PC version of this game is $20 or something now on Amazon with all the DLC included and I wanted to know how much more graphically intense this game is than the original. Gearbox of course didn't release a demo so I can't test if it will work on my laptop (and sites like systemrequirementslab always say that I can't run games that I can), so I wanted to know how it compared to the original. I can run the original on low settings, would my computer be able to handle this.

I found that Borderlands 2 runs better than the original on my system. This may just be because the sequel takes better advantage of a modern system, more cpu threads and the like. According to steam the sequel has sightly lower minimum requirements than the original. I would never recommend buying a game when you struggle to meet the minimum requirements, but if you were happy playing the original on low, you should find a lot to enjoy in the this game. I've racked up 230 hours in Borderlands 2, and I still keep going back.
