Borderlands is a first-person shooter RPG from Gearbox Software that puts players into the shoes of one of four playable characters as they traverse the hostile planet of Pandora in search of a mysterious "Vault," said to contain priceless unknown riches and alien technologies.

I'm really looking forward to this one as well.  Always up for some good loot hunting games, and making it an FPS is a nice change of pace.

Jeff's enthusiasm for this game has had me wanting more, but this trailer just did not do it for me. I hope now, since 2K has pushed so many of its fall releases, that a big marketing push starts for Borderlands. I really just want to see extended gameplay videos from here on out.

I wonder if there's any customization options for the appearance of your character.  The default ones are pretty off-putting in my opinion.

The cell shading reminds me of Champions Online.
