I like borderlands.

I know the pre-sequel comes out next week, but my understanding is that it was made by the Australian team and not gearbox in full. While the game looks like more borderlands which is good with some new stuff, ice, lasers, low gravity..... I was just wondering what is know of borderlands 3? I have ps4 now and pre-sequel isn't even coming out on ps4, or not right away? While I want more borderlands I don't really want to go back to my ps3. I assume I'm going to be waiting for borderlands 3 and skipping this game even though it looks fun.

I would skip it for now, and see if any news of a third game or remastered version of the prequel gets announced. If you don't hear anything by next years E3, then just pick up the prequel on the cheap.

i´m waitting to see what happens with this one, and unless is a disaster i´m planning to buy it in a couple of months when i have more free time i put almost 500 hours in borderlands 2, and if i buy this i´m planning to go the same route, have like 70 people in my friend list in steam that i added with B2, i had like ten before, so i need some free time to play the game properly

I think Gearbox is currently developing the kinda-MOBA-ish shooter Battleborn. It will probably be at least a couple of years before we hear about a proper sequel to Borderlands 2.

I'm still looking forward to the Pre-Sequel though. I'm really hoping 2K Australia irons out some of the kinks from Borderlands 2.

I figured out I was done with Borderlands about halfway through 2, I beat it and never returned to it. The Pre-Sequel doesn't interest me in the least.

And if Borderlands 3 ends up being more of the same, the franchise is dead to me.

I'm wondering if I would be more excited about the pre squel if it was called borderlands 3. Does that 3 make that big of a difference?

Well, if I am not mistaken Gear Box didn't dev the Pre-Sequel...right? So I am more than comfortable in thinking that they are working on Borderlands 3 for PC and Nextgen (only) while they also create that (terrible looking) MOBA thing they have coming.
