So I finished the game last night, beating the final boss in 5 seconds.  So now it's time for the DLC.  Should I do the DLC in Playthrough 1 or Playthrough 2?

Thought I would ask and see what the smart thing to do is.

Well, you should probably avoid Moxie because it's terrible. But I think Zombie Island scales to your level and don't the other 2 DLC just continue the main story?

They all scale to your level.

Playthrough 2.5...might as well get the best possible loot out of them, General Knoxx especially.

What I'd recommend, though, is you leave General Knoxx till you get to around level 50 something, since General Knoxx easily gives you some of the best gear, and you're going to want be a pretty high level to get some of it at its best, while also still having plenty of opportunity to gain levels.

Just a quick question.  Can you go back to the other playthroughs?  Say I get half way on 2, but then I want to go back to 1.  Can I do that?

No, you can't do that. Make sure you start the DLC in playthrough 1, you'll miss out on extra Skill Points if you skip to playthrough 2.

Looking at the Borderlands Wiki, it looks like I might miss out on stuff is I do them on Playthrough 2.  I will do all the DLC on P1 first.

Its good to play the DLC after the first playthrough since playing through the second playthrough will burn you out a little bit
However, you level up in the DLC, and so if you complete even one of the DLC (except moxxi) you'll be atleast 5 levels higher than everything in the second playthrough of the main game.

Basically you're choice. Enjoy the DLC while the game is still fresh and become overpowered in the end, or burn out with the second playthrough but play somewhat fresh DLC
