Bottle caps are usually quite an ordinary object, a barely-noticable piece of trash, but there are times when it becomes more. For example, in most games in the Fallout series, printed money has become extremely scarce in the atomic wasteland the world has become, so bottle caps (specifically the ones from the fictional Nuka-Cola brand) are used as currency.
