Braid is an excellent game, and has a fantastic art stlye

Braid is a 2D side scrolling platformer, which uses time, and intense puzzles throughout every level. Braid has gameplay, in the same vein as the 2D Mario games, but not as much, while keeping the jumping to lower levels and such. Braid is consisted of 6 worlds, and about 6-8 in each, and has a couple of boss battles.

In Braid, the first thing you'll notice is the art stlye and how amazing Braid really does look on HD setups. The gameplay at first will feel very much like your average platforming game with jumping mechanics. Until you get started into the game after the introduction, you will then learn of the rewinding time feature, and how you use and implement it. Each world has its own unique feature that has use using it to solve various puzzles to collect all of the puzzle pieces. The puzzles start out being fairly easy and probably will only take a glance to figure out, but even by world 3, it starts getting intense. Some of the puzzles in Braid require thinking and a lot of it. Braid will challenge every nook and cranny of your brain, while some of these puzzles had me sitting there for hours just looking at the screen and even having them stuck in my head at work trying to solve these puzzles.

Braid is one of the toughest games I have had to beat in a while, unless you go through the game without trying to collect any puzzle pieces, it wouldn't be any challenge at all, but the whole point is trying to figure out these puzzles. The gameplay is where it needs to be for a game of this type, and doesn't try anything spectacular. All you need to know for controlling is movement and jumping, and your character can't jump very high at all really, which makes the games difficulty ramp up.

Braid is one of best looking games out there, from when the game starts you out, then entering worlds, the art on each level is outstanding, you'll even find yourself sitting just checking how much detail, and really how pretty everything does look. For a download game, Braid is worth every penny, and everyone has to check Braid out, and see if your up to the challenge of these crazy puzzles.

Music plays a big part as well, because it fits with the game perfectly well, and has a nice tone to it, and I possibly could not see any other music but what is in the game in Braid. Braid is a fantastic game, with original ideas and fun levels to blast through, are you ready to challenge yourself?

      Time-bending puzzle-solving at its finest. 0

This looks so easy, doesn't it? Much like Inception, self-raising flour, and reading Arabic, Braid is confusing. Braid defines confusion. Everything, from its story to it's mind-bending puzzles, makes you boggle at the sheer complexity of the game. If you feel comfortable with one aspect of the game, it completely changes to keep you as delirious as you were at the beginning. Only one thing remains the same: Braid is a deep and rewarding puzzle game; an achievement that will leave you ponderi...
