I was wondering how many members of the GB community backed the project. Chime in if you did, and how much!

I pledged $15, mostly for the behind-the-scenes stuff, but also for the game too (honest!)

30 for the game and soundtrack!

#3 Posted by Video_Game_King (36272 posts) -

But I don't have feathers, and even if I did, you can't hear feathers.

#4 Posted by ShadowConqueror (3052 posts) -

$10,000.

#5 Posted by StarvingGamer (8241 posts) -

$15

#6 Posted by Aegon (5638 posts) -

So if you give $15 you get the game for free?

#7 Posted by RetroVirus (1472 posts) -

$15, cause I support adventure games and DoubleFine humor.

That and a little more. Read on the right of the page. Kickstarter isn't a charity donation service. You get what you pay for. The idea is that the money pledged is to make it happen in the first place.

Well, no. You get the game for 15$

#10 Posted by JoshyLee (178 posts) -

$30 I wish I could have afforded more.

#11 Posted by GeneralZod37 (262 posts) -

$100. Posters are awesome

#12 Posted by Claude (16254 posts) -

I paid nothing. I'll pay for it if I play it.

#13 Posted by Hailinel (24809 posts) -

$100. I already have two game credits on Giant Bomb. What's one more?

30, because I grew up on point and click adventure games.

#15 Posted by Barrock (3533 posts) -

I pledged 30 because 100 is out of my price range.

I'm curious if anyone pledged more than the Kickstarter listed top tier. One of the tiers on Double Fine's website included sealed copies of Day of the Tentacle.

100 bucks here. I want to see more of this kinda stuff. Think of the games that could get made without having to worry about stockholders.

We are now the stockholders! Woohoo!

40$

#18 Posted by Chojin (109 posts) -

$15. Not for the game but for Tim Schafer and the idea itself.

#19 Posted by Brendan (7810 posts) -

None yet, but I'm going to chip in 15 bucks after I receive my next paycheck.

#20 Posted by HarlechQuinn (449 posts) -

$260, including $10 for international shipping... So no new games next month for me, but considering my backlog this might be actual a good thing...

#21 Posted by Marino (4698 posts) -

$101

It'll be cool to see my name in the credits of a game again.

$30 at the moment, I'll probably end up upgrading to the $100 option.

#23 Posted by VierasTalo (782 posts) -

1200 dollars from me. I'm thinking about opting out on the portrait though, not egotistical enough to own one.

#24 Posted by RiotBananas (3600 posts) -

I was the first person to pledge I think, $1.

#25 Posted by Bocam (3753 posts) -

$250

#26 Posted by Captain_Felafel (1573 posts) -

$30 because I love Tim Schafer and Double Fine and I believe they finally deserve their propers!

#27 Posted by JBird (489 posts) -

I pledged $15. I never normally do anything like this, but I did this time for a few reasons. 1. The amount of press this thing is gathering, plus the rate in which they are receiving pledges means that it will be really exciting to follow the game knowing I get a copy. 2. I've never bought a point and click game before and I wanted to just take the risk and see if this one will be good!

I can't pledge cause of amazon payments.. I use a maestro debit card / paypal bank transfer for all my online doing and apparantely that's not cool for amazon.

#29 Posted by Xpgamer7 (2382 posts) -

I'm going to pledge 15 in a few days. I would pledge 30 for glourious HD, but I just don't have the money right now after buying Happy Action Theater.

#30 Posted by GunslingerPanda (4750 posts) -

Damn it, Minecraft.

#31 Posted by 49th (2758 posts) -

I didn't donate anything... mostly because I don't like point-n-click games, and also because they have only been releasing games on 360 lately.

£500. Well worth it to see more from this studio.

#33 Posted by Dimsey (954 posts) -

Don't have the funds right this second, but I do plan to donate $100 before this thing ends.

Not even that big on adventure games, but I like Tim Schafer and I like the idea of funding a game in this way.

Nothing yet, but in a few days I may do $15.

#36 Posted by LordXavierBritish (6320 posts) -

My heart.

#37 Posted by duggshammer (158 posts) -

$15, I'm hoping it's Full Throttle 2: Day of the Tentacle.

#38 Posted by jonano (365 posts) -

$15 from me they deserve it !!

#39 Posted by Zidd (1846 posts) -

I pledged 30 bucks. if the poster tier was cheaper I would have gone up to that.

#40 Posted by Cloudenvy (5891 posts) -

Nothing, if they end up making a game I'm interested in I'll buy it. : )

#41 Posted by CaptainTightPants (2834 posts) -

None at the moment but I will pledge 15 dollars as soon as I can.  Double Fine making a game that they have full control over is exciting.

#42 Posted by Zecks23 (156 posts) -

$115 because I thought that was a nice amount, I'd be able to afford when the Kickstarter ends

#43 Posted by Mr_Skeleton (5144 posts) -

Going to pledge $30, I just need to make a paypal account first but I'm too lazy to do it right now.

#44 Posted by unstoptheday (22 posts) -

250$ thank god for tax returns.

#45 Posted by DallyDoll (179 posts) -

$30 from me

#46 Posted by ChrisTaran (1610 posts) -

$100 for freedom!

#47 Posted by patbaer (127 posts) -

$250. Excited for the signed poster, also being a part of something like this. I've given to a dozen or so kickstarters, first time for someone who's made so many things I've enjoyed.

#48 Posted by Caffeine_Fiend (6 posts) -

I donated $30 for the game, documentary and soundtrack. I would have loved a poster but $100 is a bit steep since I don't care about getting my name in the credits.

#49 Posted by Zidane_24 (738 posts) -

$100, because the idea of getting my name in a game's credits is super awesome to me.

#50 Posted by AverageGreg (120 posts) -

$30, can't wait to see how the game turns out.
