    Great point-and-click / mystery title

I didn't have high expectations going into this. Point-and-click adventures seem to be drawing me in lately, and mostly because when I go in with low expectations, I play a game like this and come out greatly pleased.

The quirky and sometimes humorous dialogue in this is enough to make the game worthwhile. Added in the great story of the old, mysterious conflict between Templars and Assassins (a la Assassin's Creed variety, but a bit different), as well as mystery and intrigue rolled in with some detective work, and you have yourself a game well worth the time.

While it is an older game with super cartoony graphics, most can appreciate that it is hand drawn and at least stands the test of time enough to know what most of the things going on in the game represent. The mystery is really good and intriguing, the dialogue and carefully placed twists in the story make it adventurous enough not to leave you wincing for lack of action / entertainment.

I recommend this game to anyone with $6 to spare and enjoys point-and-click or mystery games. Also anyone with the desire to start playing point-and-click games for the first time, this would be a good game to start with. Do not hesitate to look up hints if you get stuck for long periods of time. I really enjoyed this game, and have just purchased the 2nd game on GOG.com, I'll add a review of that later.
