Some cooperative games let the players pick up and toss each other around. Sometimes this serves a purpose, like killing an enemy or leap over a gap but most of the time it just serves as an aspiration to great assholery.

Buddy Jump

The act of using your buddy as a platform to reach higher ground or cover more distance.
Competitive Co-op

Games where you cooperate with other players to accomplish certain goals, yet at the same time compete for power (items) and glory (wealth).
Cooperative Play

Cooperative play in games allows humans to play together as a team to accomplish a task. Instead of playing against a human opponent, the team must defeat an AI. Cooperative Play in some games also means 2 human versus 2 human, this occurs in some Billiards games. (Scotch Doubles / Doubles)
Enemy Tossing

When a game lets players grab enemies and throw them as projectiles. Commonly found in platformers, but also sometimes found in over-the-top 3rd person action games.
Falling Damage

Receiving damage or dying as a result of falling.
Goron

Gorons are a group of creatures that like to eat rocks and live in the mountains of The Legend of Zelda series.
Griefing

A style of play in multiplayer gaming with the purpose of annoying, irritating and angering other players.
Pit

A place to fall, often bottomless, usually resulting in death.
