Does anyone know which platform I should get this for? I enjoy FPS games much more on PC but I am worried no one will be playing multi-player on the PC. What do you guys think?

Agreed, after seeing the quick look i think that more people would be playing echos & single player over horde mode for most of it's life.

The PC version apparently looks better, so I'd say go with that.

I've been playing the PC version. It does look alright graphically, although I would say it's definitely not the best looking unreal game. If you have at least a decent computer that can run most stuff at high settings you should be fine. I'm playing on an old dual core gtx 260 and get 45-60 fps at 1080p. 
 
All that aside, it is a really fun game, and so far I have been having a good time figuring out all the skill shots and stuff. If you like stupid shooter games, this is a pretty good one to go with. If you have the pc to run it, go with that, otherwise I'm sure the PS3 version is just fine and dandy too.

Why hasn't it come out on Steam but it is out at stores? Does it use Steamworks?

It's on steam. It does not use Steamworks though. It's a Games for Windows Live joint. Achievement points and all.
