I wonder how many PC gamers here really only own a PC.

Glad they get to play this fun game.

If I had a PC capable of running the game and three monitors, I would definitely re-buy Burnout Paradise.

    Worth every penny.

Yeah... sounds like it, I've got two 22" LCDs right now... and they're dropping price, been looking to get another and this would be the perfect excuse.

The game is going to support crazy resolutions

i just chose that video - could have chosen a better one but this thread is about discussing if people are gonna buy the game, not discuss the video :P hehe

all games should be able too if im not mistaken, using Triplehead to go? - its costly, but if you can afford 3 monitors then that shouldn't be a problem ;)

Well, I still do own a Dreamcast and original Xbox, but not the current generation consoles.  It seems all of my extra money is going to PC these days, but PS3 is very tempting.

I'm not really a racing game fan but Burnout was my one exception, so I might check this out.

You know what, I'd go as far as to say the majority. People don't really tend to intermix with console and PC. I'm a PC....and my friend over here is a Mac.

I'll wait for the reviews on this one. if it's as good as some of the classic NFS games, like Underground 2, then I'm on it. NSFU2 is my favorite racing game.

oh your in for a big surprise, first Burnout is nothing like Need For Speed. yes, there race and speed run (Burning Route), there 2 thing that stand out.
1st. It sense of speed, the game is fast, really fast. There no speedometer but you know that your going like hell down the street.
2nd. The crash. Burnout party piece. OK, your going like hell down the street, went you hit a wall, the game show you the most amazing car crash there is. heck there a mode that only that Showtime. were the only goal is the get the biggest crash that you can.

In my opinion Burnout is superior to need for speed, yea there is no license car in the game but went you see the crash you know that there no car maker that will license anything to Burnout and it so much fun to play.

Oh if you want a review, just check the console version.

I'm looking forward to playing this even though i usually dislike PC driving games. But Burnout just looks cool and hopefully the PC version gets a nice face lift so we can see all our amazing smashes and crashes in high quality graphics :D

all pc driving games suck without a controller, so the chances of them not adding gamepad support is very unlikely
using a keyboard is like using a controller for strat games ;) lmao

Thats not necessarily true - the keyboard arrows work just fine. And for more complex driving mechanisms there are plenty of keys you can map to suit your needs. It might not be the optimal / most comfortable experience, but I wouldn't say it sucks. I played through all of the NFS series using the arrows keys.

I miss having games for the PC, I mean NFS III split screen on 1 pc is still the first thing I think off when I think of racing games...

Let it come, i'll pay for it! Console gaming is overrated.
