I might be getting Burnout Paradise soon and I was just wondering if lots of people play it online and getting a get is quick and has a similar skill level?

I got it a couple of months ago and there were a surprising number of people still playing. If you do get it, add me (Gamertag is Chaser324), so that we can do some online challenges...I still have a lot to do.

The game has join-in-progress gameplay--something far more games should have these days, IMO--which means that if anyone in the world is playing a public game and their game isn't full, you can join them.  You pretty much won't ever have to worry about online drying up for Burnout Paradise.

And the community is very mellow, which is one of those intangibles that goes unmentioned much of the time in gaming anymore.

I still find that Burnout Paradise has the best online multiplayer of any game I've ever played to date.

I played that game for like 2 days. Game was terrible.

I picked up Burnout Paradise a couple of weeks ago, and was not expecting online to be very lively.  Surprisingly, there is a lot going on, and I was able to get the Platinum Trophy (which requires a lot of online play).  Good stuff...one of the better games I have played lately.

I too bought Paradise semi-recently and was surprisingly pleased with how active online still was; it helps that they keep adding things to the game, I suppose. That said, be prepared to get smoked. The AI in the game is a joke, and people who know what they're doing are not.

at this point, this long after the games release, anyone still playing the game is most likely online.
