I just got the game from amazon and installed it, and whenever I try to launch it the game crashes on the beginning load screen. Anyone else have this problem?

Someone somewhere probably does have this problem, sure, but until you give us a bit more of the specifics we can't really help.

When I first launched the game it opened up the config tool, but it only shows this much of it. I did what I could and when I quit it saved my settings. Whenever I launch the game it goes into the opening load screen for a few seconds, then windows says the application crashed.

Some questions to see where you're at:

• Did you activate the game on Steam, or is it a standalone .exe?
• What OS/service pack do you have?
• What's your video card and are its drivers up-to-date?
• Has your computer restarted since you installed the game? (If it hasn't been restarted, do that first.)
• What resolution is your monitor set to?

@Ravenlight: It's from Origin, I have activated it from origin and as a standalone .exe. I am running Windows 7 SP 1. I have a nvidia GeForce GTX 560M and it's drivers are up to date. I have restarted a few times and uninstalled and reinstalled. My monitor is at 1920x1080.
