Does anyone here still play CoD2?

The sequel to the smash hit original game, Infinity Ward returns to the familiar World War 2 setting. In this installment, players take control of four different characters, each of a distinct, allied nationality, as they fight though hordes of Nazi's on their quest to free the world.

Personally, I LOVE CoD2 and I think it's maybe the best. Does anyone still play it?

Considering 4 more installments of the franchises have already come out to record-breaking popularity and a 5th one is releasing in a few months, I doubt that many still play the game. Of course, every game has it's really hardcore base that will still play no matter what(hell, a lot of people still play the very first Everquest game), you find still find some people online.

Its the best Call of Duty game ever made (I would say its the best first person shooter ever made.). I played hundreds of hours of it, its still great, i just can't play it as easily as I used to. I don't think any other Call of Duty game will ever beat it.

As of a year ago, the online was still hopping, alot of great servers (On PC anyways)

CoD2 is still frequently (read: always) in the top 10 most played games on Xfire.

So yeah, I'd say a few people still play it.

There are still people playing the original cod, so ofcourse people still play this. But you cant mess around with sub machine guns like you used to, since all the hardcore people use the (sniper) rifles. (which 1 hit kill)

Call of Duty: United Offensive is and will always be a better game :)

Heres a screenshot I just took, the zombie servers are still the most popular, but there's still a decent amount of people playing for sure.

I still play it. I haven't stopped playing it actually. It's definitely the best WW2 game I've ever played.

Was my favorite COD game. I got insanely good with the Kar 98k. Sadly I had the 360 version and that community has basically died. I should pick it up on PC sometime.
