Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare ditches the World War II motif of the past Call of Duty games to tell a story set in contemporary times, and backs it up with a solid, feature-rich multiplayer mode.

I'm currently downloading this from Games on Demand because I really wanted to play some classic ass Modern Warfare. Then panic struck in. What if no one is still playing?

Of course you'll still have people playing. It's one of the most iconic FPS' this generation. Now if you're looking for unhacked lobbies that's a different story.

Yes. You can probably find a fair game here or there. Most of it might be crappy hacks, though.

I played it on 360 within the last six months and had no problem finding a game.

Tried playing last week on PS3 and there were no servers, hope everything is still good for 360 for your sake.

PC is still going strong, no hackers either. (I will thank dedicated servers for that)

@Dross: Have you got it before, because if not the Single Player is fantastic.

There are still people playing it, and there are still people playing it that are not using hacks. I just went back to this last week and played some of it. There are a lot of hacked lobbies, but I just backed out and found a new one a couple of times and found a normal one.

Will be alot of good players. Probably the best maps in COD4.
