I was playing on a hardcore server, and I managed to get a 20 kill streak. But I was taking a lot of damage. By the time I got a 25 kill streak I figured something was up, because I was taking way too many hits without dying. So I ran into a room with like 5 people in it and let them all try and kill me, and I still didn't die.

After this I just left the server. I didn't want to be banned for hacking, because I wasn't; I don't know what was going on. Has anything like this happened to anyone else? I thought maybe it was a mod, but I've gone to this same server many times and never had anything like this happen.

I'm guessing it was on the PC? I've never played the game that way, but is it possible the host did something to make it so you take more damage or whatever? I don't know how all that works.

Perhaps lag was working in your favor? There is also the possibility of luck.

probably just bad lag. I've never seen that extreme, but I have taken a headshot or 2 on Hardcore and not died due to lag. Just explain that you're not cheating and politely bow out of the match

Man, that is strange. I've logged in a lot of time with COD 4, but have never seen anything like that.
