    COD 4 : Modern Warfare 0

Call of duty 4 is a brilliant action game for anyone who likes first person shooters. You take the role of soap who enrolls in 22 SAS. You also play Sergeant Paul Jackson who is part of USMC 1st Force Recon deployed to the Middle East, and the player controls Jackson's character during five levels of Act 1. Captain/Lieutenant Price is an officer of 22 SAS who is playable in a flashback. This game flows really well and is worth the money. It gives hours of game play and some challenging levels. I...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 0

Let me start off by saying that this is probably one of the best games i have ever played. 1. Single Player. The single player is not very long which is a shame, but the missions they have are the best of the series. You start off as a new character named soap. You basically go through the missions like any other game in the series, but one thing has changed. Since this title is called Modern Warfare, we use modern weapons! Unlike the other WWII based games this one is more realistic and is a ...

    Call of Duty 4 1

Call of Duty 4 is the forth game of the Call of Duty series and at first glance at it I was actually put to sleep by the game, literally.  Still, I ballsed up and took the controller two days later after both of my brothers completed it and played as an SAS thug on a tanker and I must say I quite enjoyed it.    Running at top speed towards the chopper was possibly the most fun I've ever had from a Call of Duty game by that point, including avoiding Nazi rockets while travelling at 50mph and shoo...

    Great 0

overall call of duty 4 is a great gameplay experience that any owner of the 360 or any other platform for that matter should have. the only drawbacks i can think of are the single players short length and the fact that all the achievements have to be done on single player.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Gameplay -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------first off lets g...

Let me start off by saying, INCREDIBLE GAME The Strengths: 1Great Weapons 2Great Melee 3Great Multiplayer 4Intense story and multiplayer 5Fun arcade mode 6great, basic controls The Weakness: 1Short Story 2Graphics are a bit 'rubbery' Activision did a superb job with Call of Duty 4.  It's main strength is it's multiplayer, the ranking system will keep your hands reaching for your controller to continue to level up.  The story is also a huge strength to the game, it is intense and does a fantastic...

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Xbox 360 Review 0

If there's one game you should own for either your Playstation 3, or your Xbox360, its this one. The graphics are better than anything seen on a console game, so much so, that at times I could of believed it was a film I watching, and not a game I was playing. The sound was, although not as impressive as the visuals, was still very impressive, with realistic gun shots, impressive background sound, all drawing you more and more into the game and story. Onto the story, while short, is very thrilli...

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 0

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the first installment of Activision's series to be set in the modern era. It combines a short but fast paced campaign that never keeps you waiting with online multi-player that is nearly perfect. In the campaign you play as either a soldier in the British S.A.S. fighting to stop Russian Ultranationalists from taking over the country or as a US marine fighting in the middle east to stop an extremist from rising to power. It is on the short side, (It took me a bou...

One of the best games ever. 0

The good: Amazing campaign although short - outstanding graphics - sharp sound - fun, amazing, addicting and deep multiplayer - good plot - awesome gameplay. The bad: short campaign.Unlike the previous call of duty games which were set only in the WWII setting. This game is set during modern times, Where you play as either S.A.S. or U.S.M.C.The plot is very simple yet very good at the same time.It turns out terrorists (big surprise) have gotten a hold of some nukes to blow up America. And in a twi...

The greatest shooter multiplayer ever... 0

Call of Duty 3 was a decent game, with nothing special. Call of Duty 4 is a whole other ball game. Infinity Ward is back as the developer, and they have never been better. Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare leaves its WWII battlegrounds, (Hence the subtitle Modern Warfare)and heads for the Modern Era. By far the best game of the year. Everyone says the Campaign is short, and they mean it. There aren't a lack of missions, but the missions themselves aren't very long. The first mission can be complete...

    Amazing! 0

I was wondering when the CoD series was going to progress past WW2 and was pleased to see that at last they have. CoD4 is simply the best, in my opinion, FPS on the market. First the graphics are superb and especially in HD. The details in the environments is brilliant and really brings the game to life. The gameplay is intense with fast paced action mixed with stealth based missions. The pace can be difficult at the start especially on multiplayer but you quickly get used to and realise how sl...

Purely fantastic, cinematic FPS masterpiece. 0

Call of Duty 4 : Modern WarfareCall of Duty has become a franchise traded between two companies, Treyarch and Infinity Ward. This obviously creates much dispute between the fans of the series, often fans of one such companies offerings refuse to purchase the others. However, I think I speak for myself here, Infinity Ward have obviously outdone the competition with Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare. The Storyline is based around the Present Day, in which a British soldier "Soap" Mactavish is selecte...

    Just short of perfect.. 0

I got to thinking about this one the other day when Activision announced that the ‘Call of Duty’ name is back in the Modern Warfare 2 title…….whatever Activision, what we have here is an awesome military first person shooter and it’s upcoming sequel should be as great if not better. Here’s my thoughts on the game that took the series out of the tired WW2 theme (which Activision made sure to take it back to). I played through it on the Xbox360, the same experience can be had on the PC and the PS3...

An Engaging and Cinematic Masterpiece 0

By the time the news of Modern Warfare 2 being made was released i hadn't touched Call of Duty 4 for about a year. I decieded that i would go back and relive the memories of a great shooter. But when i first played it i did not realise just how great it was. Up until now Infinity Ward was going fine with the whole WW2 thing. But there is only so many games that you can play. When they announced that they would be updating the franchise to a more modern setting, there was a huge amount of excitem...

    Fresh war and MODERN 0

The most downloaded and highly anticipated game ever talked about (Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare) is finally here and is the #1 game that we think it to be or is it a war bes left at stores. The story starts off as you being a soilder being assigned to a crew that believes you are a joke and takes you through a drill test and shock them by your demolition skills. Afterwords your set on your on your first mission to grab paper work over the war enemy General Zamhoroff. Once that's complete he ho...

Best First Person Shooter Ever!!! 0

<5* MUST BUY> CAMPAGIN Freaking awesome, I loved every aspect of the game. The graphics, story, AI, level design and everyting in between. I am a hard to plaese campagin critic and when I say a campagin is good, ITS REALLY GOOD. This game though on veteran difficulty is isanley hard, it is a tolerable hard. It can be tedeous at times, I deffenently got around that one flaw and asure this is an EPIC campaign and unless you're a wii gamer will keep you entertained. (yes i'm a wii basher) MUL...

    Over-Hyped 0

With throngs of bros and fanboys rushing to get the latest kill simulator known as “Modern Warfare 2” from their local shopkeeps, I thought it would be appropriate to talk about the original that started this craze, “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.” A game that everyone heralded to be so good that it blew Halo out of the water in terms of FPS dominance, and thanks to a billion dollar marketing campaign, it would have you believe in that hype (and is trying to do it again, mind you.) And in truth...

An extraordinary shooter with broken multiplayer 0

Call of Duty 4 is an average first person shooter, but executes it extremely well. This campaign is full of action packed modern combat, and engaging missions full of surprises. The situations in each mission, including locations are done very well and keeps me very satisfied. The shooting mechanic works really well, also giving you a button to sprint which was a fairly new concept for the FPS. The guns you use in here will all be recognizable in what you would see in the standard world for wea...

    A Masterful Remaster 0

Call of Duty 4 was the most influential shooter of the last generation. Its control scheme became the standard for first person shooters. Its short, action packed campaign served as a template for the abundance of clones released in its wake. Although, its biggest impact was in online multiplayer, where the addition of a persistent leveling framework, unlocks, and customizable loadouts changed the landscape of competitive shooters. The newly remastered version released on the back of Infinite War...

Modern Warfare Remastered is the very best version of an already infinitely playable classic 0

Maybe the most surprising thing about Call of Duty 4’s enduring legacy is its timelessness. It’s not often that a studio truly nails everything about a game, and the degree to which Call of Duty 4 succeeds can already be seen in its long-lasting impact on multiplayer. But revisiting the title with the benefits of a more modern look and feel offers another view: that this game is as close to perfect as you can get, even over a decade later.Modern Warfare Remastered is not a remake of ...
