I'll start out by admitting that I'm not a past fan of the Call of Duty games, though not out of dislike, more out of ignorance or just never having a chance to play them. I've been playing the Call of Duty series since the beginning, the original PC release. I've enjoyed every single one and actually have played them through more than a few times. The multiplayer in all of them have been extremely impressive. I'm probably one of the few minor people that aren't sick of the WWII games. I love them. After Call of Duty 2, Infinity Ward handed Call of Duty 3 over to a different publisher Treyarch which did a decent job. After awhile, they announced they are ditching the World War 2 story and going Modern and what a great choice. Call of Duty 4 is definitely an epic game. Epic Single-player, epic multi-player, epic graphics, epic voice acting and so on. Wow, I just finished beating the single player campaign on this game , and what a thrill ride. This game definitely deserves all the praise it has received by both critics and gamers alike.The graphics are outstanding. On max settings this game is one of the best looking out there right now. This game blew me away! I love this game. It is a great shooter and Infinity Ward did an amazing job. First off, the graphics are amazing and the gameplay mechanics don't fault either. The only problem with this masterpiece is the fact that the single-player campaign is way too short. But this is made up for in the near-perfect online play. The only FPS in my lifetime of gaming I have spent more enjoyable time with was 007 Goldeneye. I believe this game was a triumph, both in single player story telling, multiplayer replayability, and overall polish. Like has been said by some reviewers, although it did not reinvent the FPS it for the first time did just about everything you could imagine right.
