I GUESS I can sit through a half-hour of Geoff Keighly to see this teaser.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Is Out This November
I have faith in Treyarch...just kinda worried about how Activision is going to go about this from now on.
" @Snapstacle said:Arcto-Cuban communist undead. The gravest threat our Sneaky Forces have ever faced." @Pie said:That aliens made "" The Arcitc, Vietnam and Cuba have been confirmed by GAME apparently "Cuban-Vietnamese zombies in the Arctic it is then. "
Actually, now I'm just thinking that a parody of MW2 is the best option open to Treyarch. Not that they couldn't come up with something serious and good, like maybe an actual spiritual successor to CoD 4, but there's just so much opportunity to go beyond over-the-top.
I'll try to give Treyarch the benefit of the doubt since the year CoD:WaW launched they also released Spider-Man:WoS and James Bond:QoS so here's to hoping their facial textures don't look like vomit this time even though Infinity Ward did all the heavy lifting with the engine they used and don't blatantly rip from movies (a'la "Enemy at the Gates"). But even then, I'm just slowly turning my back on FPS (TPS baby!).
" Why are people saying it looks cool and nice? Nobody has seen anything about it yet; no screenshots no videos. Lets see a Call of Duty game not in WWII and assuming not what MW2 took place. can we say America doesnt even need to be apart of it, but if theres anything left that Call of Duty hasnt looked at that was huge then its Civil War, but i dont think the Call of Duty franchise should take that direction. "Civil War would without a doubt suck, guns from that period were shitty, in fact every time I look back or see a picture of one of those weapons I think they would have been better off using swords.
" Treyarch blows. Respawn Entertainment (aka the real IW) for life! "No wonder they pack their games with infinite respawn clown car rooms.
It's part of their name.
Meh, if Treyarch is developing I'll buy it.
WaW was actually one of the better games in the recent CoD releases. Sure the tanks were unnecessary, and they had to create a giant turd in their overall balanced game (MP40), but for the most part I honestly felt that WaW was a sucess.
Black ops, I think this game is about the Black Panthers. I'd love me some all black crew trying to get the white man. BRING IT!
That name sounds awful! Seriously. It sounds like a one off expansion that they are kicking out to just ride the gravy train (which I guess they are doing). Not a huge huge huge CoD fan, really after CoD2 on the PC, really fell off and only bought 4 and MW2 because it was a thing that all my friends had on their Playstations.
Wouldn't it be great if it took a new direction?
Like a Squad based shooter? Republic Commando meets CoD?
I'm getting a slight tingle in my pants just thinking about it. That could be that thing i'm taking penicillan for though.
I know it is cool to hate on MW2 and so therefor it is now uncool to hate on it. But I truly do feel that it was a step back from MW1 and even WAW's multiplayer because the killstreaks were just too much and basically meant that he who snipes or camps best wins and I am not a big fan of camping a lot and I am a terrible sniper so I didn't enjoy it.
I liked World at War, and what Treyarch's been doing with CoD. Interested to see what this turns out to be like.
