I honestly didn't even know it was Sam Worthington until somebody said something and then began to immediately hate the voice acting. I think that makes me biased. Oh well, I'll survive.

Did Anyone Else Not Mind Sam Worthington?
I didn't find it all that bad. It was somewhat bothersome that he switched between American accent and Australian accent, but I got over it. I like his voice.
" I didnt mind him at all. But Ice Cube in multiplayer is getting a bit annoying. "I think Ice Cube is the best thing to happen to the series since CoD4.
I thought he did a good job in the game. Not as well as Ed Harris as "Captain Sunglasses" Hudson or Gary Oldman as Woods and Reznov, but both of those guys are really awesome actors.
ya i have an austrailian teacher and ya, that accent was painful. it was really annoying when he said a few things with his australian accent... but overall i enjoyed the campaign

"I thought that sounded like Oldman's Air Force One terrorist voice! But on the topic of Worthington, I do get sorta annoyed by the fact that his American accent breaks into his native Australian one when he says certain things.
" Mason should have been played by Edward Norton... "Everybody should be played by Edward Norton.
It's depressing how old he sounds these days." He's fine. Ed Harris is best though. "
His voice work sucked but it's really hard to care. The single player part of this game is pretty dang dumb. Not saying it's good or bad, just really, really dumb.
I think his voice work was just fine. I did notice the accent a couple of times, but it is blown out of proportion by complainers. I think those people have a skewed perception of the voice acting because they don't like Sam's movie acting.
FRIENDLY RCD XD DEPLOYED! ENEMY RCD XD INCOMING! Over and over until all you want is the sweet release of your own doom. I changed my kill streaks because I was tired of spawning in and listening to him remind me about the RCD XD I didn't want to use yet." @MrMuscle said:

As for Worthington, he was fine for the most part but his Australian really does show at some parts.

Still though, it sounds like Ice Cube and it completely ruins the immersion whenever I hear him talk....and he is one chatty motherfucker.
I thought it was fine, and I really didn't ever think "Hey, that's an Australian accent". It was definitely solid enough for a video game, especially in comparison to many other video games. Plus what little Australian there is could be passed off as his parents were originally from Australia or something. He did over-do some lines though, especially the *SPOILERS?* "NUMBERS AHH" parts. I have to say, whoever did Woods (I can't remember), did a good job, as I really liked Woods and could see him becoming a Soap-tier character. Also Ice Cube was awesome.
lol thats pretty damn true" @CraigAA: Yeah I'm only kidding. I reckon Jeff just doesn't like him becuase before Avatar came out he was all 'I'm convinced there is no-way that movie is ever going to make money' and now he looks quite the fool, so it's revenge! LOL "
the australian accent did get on my nerves several times but it wasnt that bad.
he's a good actor/really cool dude so i dont get the hate.
I don't particularly like him, but I also don't mind him. I also think Jeff seemed a bit harsh on him in the review.
The face they made for him before levels looks like Commander Shepherd from ME to me. They should'a used his voice.
Then maybe the game might'a sold some copies.
