I was interested for a sec, but then saw that the video's 16 minutes. No way am I watching that.

Plus, this is considered "Youtube spam" as posting a video without commentary on it is spam on these forums.

Here are the Forum Rules. (They should totally make me a mod)

@FluxWaveZ: Doesnt commentary consist of people speaking over the entire duration of a video? Thats what the copyright fair use rules are on youtube, in order to monetize mw3 videos. Anything with constant voice over, without extended periods of just video content on screen.

Commentary as in written text in the forum post to go along with the video explaining what it is and why we should watch it, not commentary in the video itself.

The point is that if someone can't be bothered to offer some commentary and discussion as context for a video that their posting into the forum, then there probably isn't a strong need for it to be posted. This isn't to say that there aren't amusing or interesting videos out there that don't need much more additional textual discussion from the poster, but that there isn't enough to justify turning the forums into nothing but a bunch of whoring out youtube channels and thousands of "I lolled at this video" crap. Which, actually, is what the forums were starting to turn into awhile ago, before this started being enforced.

@Branthog: I wasn't aware there was a period in which this rule wasn't being enforced...it's been years since the rules were written and YouTube spam has always been prohibited and enforced. Anyway, closing this and the reasons have already been cited.
