The last installment of the Modern Warfare trilogy brings World War 3 to the world of Call of Duty. While the U.S., British, and French armed forces try to push back the Russian invasion, the disavowed Task Force 141 begin their hunt for international terrorist Vladimir Makarov.
ummm... ya, I don't know how reliable the info is, because Kotaku basically spoiled almost the whole story, but nevertheless, there you go. I know everyone would start posting "BF3>CoD" comments", but you know, this is probably the best move Activision can do at this point. There rep has been stomped on pretty hard by the gaming community from BlackOps despite sky high sales. I highly doubt they could churn out something revolutionary and interesting for the next installment, and getting a cheap buck out of finishing a cliff-hanger would be the only way.
I kind of hope that this is their Guitar Hero 5, and that the Modern Warfare brand will go away long enough for them to actually innovate on something.
I just like how the keep pretending the story is a big selling point. Sure it's nice, and I'm not saying they should stop making SP campaigns, but the people that have been playing Black Ops since November... they're not playing the campaign over and over. Give me some MP details!
Yea I dunno why people say things like "don't buy this game". Just because you don't like the game it's wrong for others to buy them? I don't care what people say about CoD I still enjoy the games. That being said, I do hope they mix things us a bit this time and I'm interested to see if they can make sense of the mess of a plot from MW2.
