I've been eyeing the map pack bundle for awhile at 1600 pts.  I *HATE* paying for maps but there's no other way to get these maps and I really like the zombies mode on the first map.  Is there enough people consistently playing the other three maps to make it worthwhile?

Yes. Not the 2nd (Verruckt). Shi No Numa and Der Riese had me hooked for a long time. Brilliant maps and you'll have TONS of fun if you like the original zombie mode. Go for it dude.

I don't know if people are still playing COD:W@W and the Zombie mode. I'm assuming lots of people moved on to BF:BC2 and MW2. You'll probably find a few you play it but I dunno about consistency. Try finding websites dedicated to the game mode or something.

First one was brilliant, but i don't know if i want to use 1600 points to get something that is not my taste.

if your going to get the achievements, I believe 2 and 3 are the only mappacks to get since teh first doesn't offer achievements.
It might be 1st and 3rd unsure...

I keep thinking Activision is gonna eventually release the zombies pack for 800 pts or something because I couldn't care less about the other maps and that's all I'm interested in.

I still think Trayarch should relese Nazi Zombies as a standalone Xbox Arcade/ Playstation Network game if they did do that i would buy it but i should have all the maps included (^_^)

If you have friends to play with they're absolutely awesome. I've had more fun playing Nazi Zombies with friends than doing anything else in any other CoD game, and we've gotten pretty good at it too. But with that being said, they'll probably get old fast by yourself or with strangers cause it's just not as fun.

I thought these are free. 3 new maps came with patch 1.4 as far as I remember. But I don't think that paying for maps will ever be rational.

I absolutely despise buying map packs but I did finally cave-in to get the extra zombie map packs (PS3 had the bundle on sale for $15 last week) ... The other night, there were 68 people online playing the DLC zombie map packs.... sixty eight [slaps self on forehead]. And I suck playing solo.
