yea, i wasn't even planning on getting this game either, i'll just stick to Call of duty 4 till gears 2 comes out.

If it actually sells I think online might be moderatly popular for a while.
I think its all to do with how many coppies it sells.
But eitherway noway in hell it will have the success of CoD4 or Halo

I will actually try it online, but mostly the online co-op...not enough games have that and I enjoy co-op more than versus.

If I ever do get this game, of course I will play online. I'll do a little co-op and some other stuff on the side, but to be honest, I'm not too hyped up about this game.

Its extremely disappointing that this comes out right with gears 2. I would have loved to play this, but will probably caught up in gears.

It looks like it could be fun. WW2 has the better gameplay in my opinion because you've got the better balance of guns. Modern firearms are meant to perform well in all situations... so um, in COD4 everyone just uses the M16. In WW2 the guns you've got to play with all have their ups and downs, and I think it works very well. Then you've got vehicles to play with, which should make things interesting. I'm more interested in GOW2 because the gameplay is much more personal and satisfying, but for large scale hectic battles I think this game will be the one to play.

I'm sure plenty of people will play it online. Look at Lost Planet. That game has a very dedicated online community. I know, because my next door neighbor is cadillac_dro. = D Not joking, either. His real name is Guillermo. He's from El Salvador.

COD 3 was still being played a few months ago, and had a lot of people playing on-line for a good few months.
To be honest COD 4 was good, but not as good as COD 3 for me, and I can't wait to get my hands on COD:WAW.

Meh. With Resistance 2 I may be only playing that mixing in a little Warhawk and Wipeout in the mix. Probably LBP also and Far Cry 2 IF I get them. If COD isn't made by Infinity Ward I can pass on it.

It all really depends on whether or not the content is worth it. Sure they may have added new perks and such but most people like the feel of the new high tech weaponry better then the old nostalgic equipment.

Yep. CoD 4 multiplayer was incredibly popular. The majority of fans of the CoD 4 multiplayer will want to play the CoD:WaW multiplayer since we've been promised more of the same style multiplayer.
