I wondered which one you guys thought has the best multiplayer. In my opinion world at war does because the weapons take a bit more skill to use and i quite like the war game mode

I prefer COD4. I felt it had better maps and weapons.
I just thought Treyarch did a copy, paste, edit job on COD:WAW.
Plus, I fricken hate those goddamn dogs!

Call of Duty 4 hands down. Infinity Ward knows how to make a great game, while Treyarch gets a free ride off of Infinity Ward's hard work and dedication. The only reason why World at War is selling well is the simple fact that people are bored of Call of Duty 4 and need something to tide them over till the real next Call of Duty game comes out.

Call of Duty 4 of course.

 Personaly I am not a big fan of boths multiplayer  but I would say CoD4 as a modern setting is more interesting and the guns are better.

I just found some the weapons to be to easy in modern warfare

a reskined COD4 is better then WAW

I like the dogs better than the heli, but overall I find CoD 4 to be a better experience.

I really don't know which is worse...

It depends on the play style you prefer in your multiplayer games.  For spray 'n' pray and 'nade spams with mostly automatic weaponry and really good maps, I would suggest CoD4.  For accuracy-based action and 'nade spams with mostly bolt-action weaponry, shitty Nazi Zombies mode, and decent maps, I would go for W@W.

Really, the two are almost night and day in terms of gameplay techniques...at least from what I see.  Personally, I would pick CoD4 solely because there seems to be a bit more color in that game than the brown, black, and gray of W@W.

I think people really digged the levelling up and customazition mostly, that and how easy but still satisfying it is to kill fools "

i say Modern Warfare is better

Modern Warfare used the same exact multiplayer component as World at War, did it better, and is a year older than World at War. Tough choice for me.

I find they are the exact same but set in a different time period. I don't see where all the Treyarch hate comes from.

If you guys want me to give my HONEST opinion, neither CoD4 or W@W can even compare to CoD2's brilliance of multiplayer and well-built maps.  Regardless, this isn't about CoD2.  This is about CoD4 vs W@W.  As I said before, CoD4 wins and it is SOLELY based on a better presence of color in the world (which isn't by much) as well as superior maps.  Other than that, I can do without the spray 'n' pray bullshit.  I'll take accuracy-based bolt action anyday.
