Now I haven't played this game myself, but with the developer in mind, I'm surprised at how well it's received with a metacritic score of 74 on consoles and 75 on PC. Now I know that metacritic ain't always the most reliable source but both Gameinformer and Gamespot gave it 8.0 out of 10 and that's a hell of a lot more than I ever expected. Techland really is a hit or miss developer.

It's super goofy but I'm having fun with it. I feel like some of the mechanics just get in the way (the WASD QTE's and the dueling come to mind), but the shooting feels great.
