Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall Forum

I've always been more of a Nickelodeon type of kid, but whenever some stupid crap was on Nick, I'd switch over to CN to see what was on. And honestly, they had some great and under appreciated shows. Now some years later, CN FINALLY makes a game featuring some of their best shows and it actually looks pretty dope.

Looking at the line up of characters in the game, I can see that they went through most of the their best shows instead of some stupid crap they put out now (excluding Chowder). But I'm going to list some of the shows that have characters in the game: Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Ed, Edd & Eddy, Foster's Home for Imaginary Kids, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Samurai Jack and Megas XLR. That's right, Megas-fucking-XLR's Coop is supposed to be in this game. I am amazed that Cartoon Network would go so far back and dig out one of the best shows it ever put out and shamlessy canceled after 2 seasons and feature characters from the show, into the game.

This gives me much more faith in the Cartoon Network marketing team over Nickelodeon's Naked Brother's Band bullshit. Now I can't really say if the game itself is bad or alright, and I'm not a fan of MMORPGs but when I get some free time I will definatley check it out for the sake of nostalgia.

Yeah... have you actually seen their variations on these classic characters? The fucking American-Anime style. God damn it, Dexter looks nothing like his television counterpart.

I haven't played it for long but what they've managed to pull off is really impressive - I've never been a cartoon fan so I can't say I really care about the characters or style, but the game is relatively decent, considering.

OK, I'm going to admit it. I've been playing FusionFall. It's actually not too bad of an MMO, just a little too much by-the-numbers. Also, I keep thinking: do kids today even know who Dexter and Courage and Samurai Jack are?
