If I took the time to write down every game that I thought needed a remaster I don't think Castle Crashers would be on it. They decided to put one out and give it to anyone that owned the original release so I ended up playing it a month later cooperatively with a friend. The first DLC for Castle Crashers is the "King Pack". It adds the King and Open Faced Gray Knight as playable characters, the King Mace and NG Golden Sword as weapons, and Pelter for a Animal Orb. The one thing that really stood out too me when I was cruisin the marketplace was the fact that it was 4 player coop over a local connection. I don't know about other people but coop makes games 10 times better and a 4 player coop is rare. The game has great, loud, but great music. Castle Crashers is a very funny game, with pooping deer across the moon and chossing who gets to ride it, and some very other odd creatures along the way. This game is also very addicting until you actually beat the game. Then its like you've stopped playing whic h I felt when playing and finishing the final boss. This is by far one of the best arcade game i have played in a while, ( well i didn't feel like i wasted my money after purchasing it ). I love how even though you beat the game you still have weapons, animals, and characters to unlock to make you want to play again and again. Until you have unlocked them all. i got bored of this game really fast. its really just run, slash, repeat throughout the whole game. i guess it just wasnt my type. for those who are interested though, the art style looks beautiful and it has 4 player online/offline co-op as well as some bonus modes. it also has a leveling system which is pretty cool. however, the game was too boring personally for me to recommend it. i would say save your 15 dollars for something better, like maybe shadow complex or braid....

Castle Crashers is a huge bargain. The amount of content in it could easily make it a budget retail title for at least $20. Hell, it even approaches the quality of some $50-60 titles. $15 is a steal for this fantastic game.
