In part three of the Nerd's retrospect, he talks about Super Castlevania IV, Castlevania: Dracula X, and Castlevania on N64.  After watching this, I want to go back and beat Super Castlevania IV.  I have it on my Wii but, never beat it.  Parts 1 and 2 can be located here (1) and here (2).

Yea I watched it up on Game Trailers.  Early on he says he had 'no idea it could actually get better', well I thought things would keep getting better and better and better...  I too got the first Castlevania on 64 and I think I got stuck at the same part.  God that game was shit.

More than even the graphics, Super Castlevania IV was a demonstration at how amazing SNES's music could be.

I had the PSX, so I never saw the 3D Castlevania--what was the puzzle solution? Talk about your cliffhanger :P

To be concluded? I wonder what other games he's considering for review. SoTN? The three GBA games, Lament of Innocence?

James Rolfe is a cool guy. His videos always entertain and his Castlevania restrospective is great.

Apples and oranges.

BUT SotN and SCIV are both my respective favorites of the two Castlevania styles.

The real best one has Trevor, Alucard, Grant and Sypha... so I'm talking about Castlevania Judgement of course!

But really Dracula's Curse FTW.

He skipped over Castlevania: Bloodlines as well as the Gameboy ones I think.

How the hell does he do a Castlevania retrospective and not do Symphony of the Night? If he doesn't go back and do that, this feature sucks.
