Catan more addictive than Crack

I never played the Board game before playing Live Arcades version of Catan.

I remember it was one of the first titles released and still remains to this day a few years later one of my most played Xbox titles next to UNO, Carcassonne, and lumines.

I downloaded the trial version of the game and gave it a whirl. At first I was not impressed it seemed overly convoluted at the time but I pursued with the demo and eventually went ahead and bought it. Best move I have ever made with an Xbox live arcade title.

Each game can take about 45-60 Minutes to complete and is played by 4 people at a time in Ranked matches online. This is often the best mode, maybe because there is this dirty addiction I have to viewing my and others win/loss records and rankings.

So whats the appeal? Well this game to me is like Texas Holdem poker easy to learn and very hard to Master. My win loss ratio is very good I have a 48 wins to 74 losses.

I'm rambling.....Game is awesome if you like Board/Puzzle games if you like playing online with interactivity with others or your fiends then get this title you will not regret it.

Catan for XBLA is an adaptation of the popular board game Settlers of Catan created by Klaus Teuber.
