    This could go in the official update but I think it deserves to go in its own thread.  A new blog post on the Catherine official site states the game is done and a more info on a demo should be released early next year.  Via Silliconera

    Very cool, I'm hoping for a chance to have a look at the demo. I'm still not entirely clear what this game entails mechanically, but I'm on board regardless.

    Wierdly, those monsters in the screenshots...One looks like a baby...and isn't Vincent's girlfriend meant to be pregnant? Connection maybe?
    Also, the other one looks kinda like Katherine?

    Heh, I'm not totally fluent, but give me a kanji dictionary and I could wing it through a decent amount of the demo. I'm more interested in the gameplay if anything; I'm pretty much sold on everything else.

    There is no reason for people to be ignorant on what this game is at this point. There is an extensive wiki page that is one click away from here (click "Overview" in the upper left corner of this page) that will tell you all you want to know.

    And people saying "WTF is this game??" is getting rather grating. We do have a lot of information about this game now and the info is easy to find; just click on the wiki page like ChrisTaran posted above me. 
     
    I won't be able to play the demo, but I'm looking forward to actually see the game being played.
