My anticipation for this game stems from the fact that, dude, it's almost done. o_o

An interesting read. Who would have ever guessed that there was a possibility this could have been a war-themed game?

My interest in Catherine stems from it appearing to be wildly different than much of what I've played before. I'm interested and willing to give them money. 
 
So... any news on a NA release?

Given the surprising foreign interest in this game (I have heartedly suspect it was because of GB, but hey that might just be me), I'm hoping that the developer will pick up note and port the game over to North America.

My interest in this game has been piqued even further. Now what's left is the eventual NA localization, probably sometime next year. They'll bring it over here...right? Right?

Hashino said that while what we've seen thus far has been more on the erotic side, they're going to start sharing the "horror taste" visuals from here on out.

The Shin Megami Tensei games always had a cult fanbase in NA, and GB just added to what was already there. Persona 3-4 were fucking fantastic and made me an Atlas fan for life. I want Catherine.

I'm not sure if this has been said but I would assume that Catherine is Vincent's current girlfriend and Katherine is his old girlfriend. Hence the old and new monikers to differentiate them.

Interesting read. I'm still clueless and what the actual gameplay will be though.

They only ban AO games because places like Walmart won't stock them.

I'm so looking forward to when they release this in NA. (IF they release it in NA.) I hope that it won't get an AO rating and be shut down over here. I'm a huge fan of Atlus games, especially the Shin Megami Tensei ones, so this was big news when I first heard of it a while ago. I'm excited for it.

Doubt it'll get banned or even censored in the US. Heavy Rain had nudity and sex, Saboteur had downloadable nudity, etc.
On the off chance it does, I can always import it. Region-free is a godsend.

Atlus is far more likely to get a CERO Z rating for Catherine than they are for getting an AO rating from the ESRB. They should be more concerned about that. Also, I hear than SCE Japan is more conservative when it comes to nudity than SCEA or SCEE.  
 
And I think it's fantastic that the character is modeled on Vincent Gallo, I just hope he can find some place to take a piss. 

I'm having a difficult time telling if this is supposed to be glorified porn or just regular porn.

I'm not someone who randomly hates on games but I really wonder what the excitement's all about. The game is (so far) coasting on nothing other than a kinda sorta implication that there will be animated sex.
