Well there's your proof, new Batman in the works and Megan Fox as Catwoman (The Sun - seemingly the source).

Megan Fox has apparently signed up to play Catwoman in the next Batman film.
The Transformers sex symbol will thrill fans by donning a tight PVC catsuit to play Selina Kyle in director Christopher Nolan's next instalment about the comic book hero, The Sun reports.
Megan, 23, follows in the footsteps of Michelle Pfeiffer, who played Catwoman in Batman Returns, and Halle Berry, who played the vixen in flop spin-off movie Catwoman.
Christian Bale will return as millionaire Bruce Wayne/the Caped Crusader and Sir Michael Caine will be back as his faithful butler Alfred.
Filming is due to begin next year with the movie expected to hit screens in 2011.

I'm not sure what I feel about this one. Never been convinced she can act so great, although I have no doubt she'll be one of the better looking "Catwomen".

EDIT: Sources seem to be echoing the Sun as the source, I had originally seen it on Fox News, therefore legitimacy is a little hazy at the moment. This will no doubt be addressed soon.

Megan Fox can't be Catwoman. She is too friggen young as she is supposed to be a love interest to both Bruce Wayne AND Batman. Ill belive it when and if it gets anounced by Nolan himself.

My choice for Catwoman would be Angelina Jolie. At least she can act.

Scarlet Johansson would also be a good choice because she doesn't look like shes still in High School.

Know what would be a pretty good drinking game? Once Transformers 2 comes out on DVD, drink every time the camera focuses on Megan Fox's chest or rear. You will probably be stone drunk by the end of the movie. Alternatively, every time she says something stupid, drink. You will also be stone drunk by the end of the movie.

Yea she might have to take a few more acting lessons for this role. If I was going to just shout out a name it would probably be Angilina Jolie, I think she would be a interesting Catwoman.

"Pretty good looking" doesn't qualify you to act good. If that is all you are looking for in a Catwoman then go watch Catwoman with Halle Berry on loop for the rest of your life.

Catwoman is a complex character that really needs a strong actress to push home the crazy that created her. Go watch Batman Returns and the pay attention to when Michelle Pfeiffer turns into Catwoman, Megan Fox would BUTCHER that role.

Bud, i said shes an idiot, not sure how that implys that i think she is a really good actor..... shes horrible actually

And when i say thats all THEY were going for in a catwoman, i mean the people who are making the movie. Once again, how that implys that im involved, im not sure. I think that halle berry's version was way over sexualized so i'd rather they (I mean the movie makers themselves, NOT ME.) not try that again.
