Chäos;HEAd

A visual novel by Nitroplus and 5pb for the PC. It was later ported to the Xbox 360, PSP, and iOS devices. It's about a shut-in high school student that gets involved in a murder case and must cope with that and the errant delusions he faces.

Insanity is a condition whereby the sufferer is of unsound mind. Depending on the condition of the individual, he or she may be prone to fits of uncontrollable violent behavior, hallucinations, or other symptoms.

Non-Linear Storytelling

This is when the events of a story are not in chronological order. Often, the end comes at the beginning, and the remaining story explains how things came to be the way they are.
Not-So-Bad Guys

Characters that are initially portrayed as evil, but eventually turn out to be good or not as serious of a threat. This also includes villains who remain evil the entire game, but contain some sense of moral goodness or ambiguity.
