Charlotte is the older sister of The Commodore, wife of Butch Johnson and mother of Ling-Ling Johnson. Her career as a detective didn't begin until later in life, when she discovered the thrill of fighting crime while helping a police officer (who after the incident became her husband )stop a train hijacking while on the way to visit her younger brother Dorian. She uses logic to keep her mind sharp and assist in her investigations, and uses her charms as an old lady to soften suspects. At several points in the game she reveals her proficiency in fighting using Kung Fu by beating up criminals and acts as a running joke throughout the game.
