    They can be found in wooded grasslands and thick forests.

    Pokedex Entry

    Diamond: It can learn and speak human words. Is they gather, they all learn the same saying.

    Pearl: It keeps rhythm by flicking its tail feathers like a metronome. It imitates human speech.

    Platinum: Its tongue is just like a human's. As a result, it can cleverly mimic human speech.

    HeartGold/SoulSilver: It mimics the cries of other Pokemon to trick them into thinking it's one of them. This way they won't attack it.

    Chatot could potentially evolve into a Pokemon that gains a Sound typing and lose the Normal typing from its previous form.

    This evolution could progress on GameFreak's voice recognition programs and could build upon them a mini-game within the main gameplay's Battle Frontier.
