Chie Satonaka
Character » appears in 11 games
Chie is one of the first characters to join the player's party in Persona 4. A huge fan of martial arts and meat, Chie is the upbeat, cheerful, and energetic tomboy of the group. She does, however, have an occasionally short temper, especially with Yosuke Hanamura. Her initial Persona is Tomoe Gozen of the Chariot Arcana.
Aha, I've found Chie
" Personally, most of the characters in P4 and other anime stuff just look white to me. Short-haired Japanese girl in glasses =/= Chie. "Yea, I know what you mean. I think it's because of the hair color. When you see Chie with brown hair, you think she's a brunette, not just a Japanese girl who dyes her hair.
" The distinct lack of tank-kicking is problematic. "THIS THIS THIS.
When will you people learn that what makes Chie awesome isn't that she's cute, but that she's into Jeet Kun Doe, sendai shows (i.e., Power Rangers), steak and KICKING THINGS IN THE FACE on top of being cute?!
" @Delta_Ass: For me, it's less the hair and more the facial features like skin tone and eye shape. Yukiko for example is the most traditional Japanese character on the team, and even she just reminds me of this Italian girl I knew more than anything else. "You're pretty much describing 95% of anime in this case.
" Her eyes aren't big enough. And what's up with Japanese girls always making the peace sign? Or is it the V for Victory sign? Anyways, it's kinda disturbing. "It's not just Japanese girls, every Asian girl I've ever known has done the peace sign while posing for a picture.
I can see it after i did a quick photoshop of the shirt to look like her. I know its butt ugly but it i honestly couldn't see how that was chie in the OP. It's mainly the hair that makes her look like chie and no real facial things. Thats about 99% of all anime though, same faces with different hair and clothes.
" Her eyes aren't big enough. And what's up with Japanese girls always making the peace sign? Or is it the V for Victory sign? Anyways, it's kinda disturbing. "I believe it started with seeing American G.Is flashing the "victory" sign at the Japanese. It got adopted somehow, and Japanese youth today interpret it as the peace sign.
