Greetings, to you one and all, my fellow duders!
It's that time of the year again, an icy chill fills the air, the ground is cold and hard underfoot (except if you're in the Southern Hemisphere, you damned heathens), but to many of us it's a time of warmth, happiness and peace in our hearts. If you don't feel any of those things, or you lack a heart with which to feel them, not to worry! You are still more than welcome in this joy-filled thread.
This is a place where I would like you all to talk about what you are wishing for this year, or what you might be wishing for others. Are you planning good times with friends and family, maybe some good food and drink and general merrymaking? Have you been looking forward to unwrapping that shiny new video game you've been looking forward to all year? Or are you content with cuddling up to your significant other on the couch, whilst watching Die Hard and eating pigs in blankets?
Whatever (or however) you plan to make it through this time of the year, I personally want to wish you all the very best, may you find just a little bit of comfort in these dark times, a respite from the troubles of times gone by.
Unless we make Christmas an occasion to share our blessings, all the snow in Alaska won't make it 'white'.
