iOS version
If it will be anything like the other games Square Enix have released for the iPhone it will have a terrible UI.
love these kind of game on my iphone. can play a few mins here and there as i always have my phone with me. unlike my DS which just sits at the bottom of a draw as i don't carry a handbag and those things are to big for my pockets

Not excited at all. The DS version is just fine, thank you.
On Virtual Console it's good too. I have the PS1 Classic version on PS3 and while the load times can drag it's also a great version. I'm not so sure I would want to play this on an iPhone.

@Mr_Skeleton: How was FFT?
I didn't play it, but I think it was one of their first iOS ports so I wouldn't expect much out of it.

It comes out tomorrow. :D 1200 yen whatever that is in real money.
@d0m3l: @Dany: @Spooty: @Tesla: @Mr_Skeleton: @jetsetwillie: @msavo:

I really want to try it out. Would you recommend getting the PS1 classics version or the iPad version.@Hailinel said:

@Hooded: It's $9.99 USD. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/chrono-trigger/id479431697?mt=8
I kinda wanna try this version out, but with it being a $10 dollar download I will wait for a real review. All of the current reviews seem to be "I love this game on the SNES!" rather than actual reviews of this version.
I wish there was some weird hybrid Android/iOS device. I like the choices that come along with Android, but I'm also jealous of the 'cleanliness' and amount of cool shit iOS gets. Fuck it, I'm about to just suck it up and buy an iPod. I didn't want to because I have my phone and that plays music, but I'm tired of missing out on all the cool shit you guys get.
I got it and haven't played to long but seems like a very capable version touch works fine. Only thin that annoys a little is the on screen movement control is analog instead of digital but I switched it to always walk and it's not to bad now. I'm really early in just teleported back in time with marle
As an owner of an Apple touch (4th gen), I do not see the appeal of it getting all hot and dying in three hours. I don't have much experience with the larger games on iOS, the Final Fantasies and whatnot, but the more intense games/apps usually make the battery end of the touch toasty, and drains the battery like a motherfucker.

It's weird you are saying this on a Chrono Trigger thread when you've been able to play Chrono Trigger on Android perfectly for years. It's called an emulator, go into the Android market and start playing.
and I don't think at this point anybody should care about the legality of downloading a nearly 20 year old SNES game.
