Dragon Quest VIII remake is number one on the que of remaking good JRPGs.

There was going to be fan remake of Chrono Trigger a while back (which looked awesome by the way) but Square Enix sent them a cease and desist at one point. Was kinda hoping for a remake from them only to get a port instead. Bah.

What is the point? You would have to make it a scene-by-scene remake with better gfx or the fans would flip and then you end up with something pointless like that Psycho movie remake. Only good thing they added was Anne Heche's boobies.

You should only remake bad games that the potential to be good.

Did you not play either Final Fantasy III or IV on the DS? Classic games made better, right there.

Goes to what you define as a 'remake'. I played CT on the DS and it was essentially the same game with a few UI and menu improvements. Superior version, would not call it a remake.

Nah I just couldn't see a remake doing this game justice.....I would rather see a Final Fantasy VII remake due to the primitive 3D, the 2D graphics in Chrono Trigger still look great.
