Man Chrono Trigger remake would be awesome.

That ps1 version was pretty good too, if not a little overly dragonball Zy

Dragon Quest VIII remake is number one on the que of remaking good JRPGs.

@N7: Actually if I could pick anything, it'd be Chrono Cross or xenogears.

There was going to be fan remake of Chrono Trigger a while back (which looked awesome by the way) but Square Enix sent them a cease and desist at one point. Was kinda hoping for a remake from them only to get a port instead. Bah.

What is the point? You would have to make it a scene-by-scene remake with better gfx or the fans would flip and then you end up with something pointless like that Psycho movie remake. Only good thing they added was Anne Heche's boobies.

You should only remake bad games that the potential to be good.

Did you not play either Final Fantasy III or IV on the DS? Classic games made better, right there.

I think a full-blown Chrono Trigger remake would be great, if it were done right.

No.

Much of the game's charme comes from it's great pixel art.

Just enjoy the original.

@kingzetta: That's an awfully funny way to spell Dragon Quest VIII.

Goes to what you define as a 'remake'. I played CT on the DS and it was essentially the same game with a few UI and menu improvements. Superior version, would not call it a remake.

I'd rather they just make a new game in the chrono line.

Why waste time with a remake? There are already enough ways to play the game. Make something new.

I really want that ff6 remake on the ds, well i guess thatll be 3ds now.

I'm done with remakes now... just make a new game.

A new Chrono game. Come on duders. Or, wait, Square Enix would fuck things up so bad... no, on second thought, just leave the franchise alone.

Nah I just couldn't see a remake doing this game justice.....I would rather see a Final Fantasy VII remake due to the primitive 3D, the 2D graphics in Chrono Trigger still look great.
