I remember last year when I was playing Combat Arms, and it was a lot of fun. When my computer got fucked by a virus, I was unable to play it anymore.

My main problem with the game were the glitchers and hackers. I'm thinking about downloading this again and playing it, but I have two questions: 1) Are there a lot of people playing? and 2) Are the majority of players hackers/glitchers?

EDIT: Also, what are some other free first person shooters?

You can download FEAR's multiplayer for free here though I don't know how many people still play.

I've never heard of Combat Arms since I don't play online much.

I used to play combat arms, but i quickly lost interest because i used to play ALOT of Korean free FPS games (i got sick of them eventually). i recently tried it out and still alot of people play, and i didn't see much hackers or glitchers. might of changed during that time period, though.

Let's just say that those games are free for a reason.

Soldier Front was terrible and War Rock has some of the worst lag issues I have ever seen in a game.

out of all those games, it's my second favorite. the guns shoot well, the gun customisation is great and the graphics are awesome. though the maps are fucking garbage and it's a Free to play FPS so there's that micro transaction stuff that i hate.
it's good though, it reminds me a bit of Call of Duty 4 and it's def. work a look at

i used to play it but all the micro transaction stuff really got to me, but the thing that annoyed me the most was that you cant permantly buy guns, even if you use real money

Yeah, it's really weird how they do that. Probably to prevent people from getting awesome gear and keeping it forever, thus dominating those with no money

You could always just play Quake Live. That's a ton of fun. Also, a lot of people at my school play Urban Terror, which is a Quake mod.

urban terror is great. it's lots of fun, and it's standalone too so you don't need quake :D
Quake Live is also really..REALLY fun.

LOL why would it make you nervous , every install are .exe

Combat arms sucks big time never seen such a bad game in my life. I don't understand why so many people play it. Any game where you have to pay to buy stuff is lame even if you can have access to some free content.

Bf2 is 10x better especially with the new patch that add about 6-7 new maps.
