    Combo

    Concept »

Typically found in fighting games, combos are a series of strung-together moves.

    Are multipliers different from combos?

Yes.  Multipliers are usually a number (x2,x3,etc) or you have to collect something to get the multiplier.  However a combo is usually a set of moves.

true, so you can count them as being 'related' in a way I guess, but they are totally different from each other.

Yeah, a multiplier always seemed like a score based around the combo rather than part of it.
