I'm reading The Watchmen right now, and Rorschach seems like a badass.

The Punisher

Rorschach, Batman, The Punisher...  one I made up...  :) Spider Man, Psylocke, Nightcrawler, Phoenix

And Deadpool, who has to be one of the funniest characters I've ever seen.

I'm assuming this is about superhero comics, and not just comics in general..  otherwise I'd probably never be able to finish this post.

Jackie Estacado aka The Darkness

When he's written well (see Cable and Deadpool), Cable probably. He just really creates an interesting dynamic of someone who's seen so much in so many different contexts that he understand humanity and history on such an amazing level, that his greatest strength is his intellect. It is especially remarkable given how he started as a character with little more than giant guns.

Of more "classic" characters, probably Batman. I just appreciate a sociopath using his derangement for the betterment of the world.
