reading reviews that constantly compare console RTS games to their PC counterparts?  No matter how good or bad a console RTS is, it's review will always appear to suffer from the never abandoned PC comparison.  We get it-- the console controller is not as good as the PC.

I've enjoyed Kane's Wrath on the Xbox360 a lot.  The other thing I've noticed is that the controls for this game seem to do a lot of the things that Halo Wars continues to claim they are inventing.  Their control scheme seems to be ripping a lot off of this game.

Civilization Revolution controls well enough also (not RTS, but it garners the same complaints).  My complaints for it aren't control-related though.  I don't really enjoy modern RTS games anyways; I'm more of an old-school RTS fan.

I agree though.  A game should be viewed for what it is, where it is.  Not what it could be, somewhere else.

Thank you. And while we're on the subject, the jury is still out on Halo Wars as far as I'm concerned. I'll be renting it before/(if) I buy it for sure.
I love Kane's Wrath on the 360 btw. I think the controls are about as good as they could be.
But for sure, games should be judged by the game itself, not it's control scheme on a secondary platform.
