Or is it only worth a rental? The game seems cool, but the game is apparently frustrating some when playing with a buddy AI. Keep in mind that I'd get it for the PS3. I heard the controls are great and I'm a trophy-whore.

I stand by the fact that Halo Wars is the only playable console RTS and even then the controls are iffy. Anyways if you are a trophy whore I suggest you go elsewhere. Achievements and trophies for a game are generally the same any by looking at the list, half the trophies seem to be online multiplayer based. I'm pretty sure the community for this game on the PS3 won't be huge and the few players left are probably going to be insanely good. So if you really adamant on playing it, I would buy it because it will be hard to get all the trophies in a week if you want to Platinum it, otherwise rent it and get half the trophies.
