I feel like since the initial reveal hubbub, where everyone went "Oh shit! Why are they putting 'BioWare' in front of the name of some random RTS studio?", there has been very little information out there about Command & Conquer: Generals 2 (now just called Command & Conquer; oh gaming industry, so afraid to acknowledge your franchise has been going on far too long, so drop all numbering and subtitles and hope no one notices).
So there was a name change, both of the game and of the developer (no longer BioWare Victory). It's also a free-to-play game, which in theory could work, though I'm not sure any F2P RTS has ever weathered the storm for very long before whatever fickle F2P audience they briefly have moves on to a new game.
I'm just not sure they can revive the C&C series at this point, especially with a free-to-play game that will have a negligible singleplayer campaign (from the sounds of it). Do any of you care about this game at this point? And if you do, let me point out that the GB wiki article on it is pretty outdated.
